Hi, I’m Sara Jean Gilbert! Thanks for checking out my blog, it is a pleasure to meet you. The SpectacularEveryday was created to share my voice, my point of view, my wins, my challenges, and insights I have gained through life experience and recent experiences working with a life coach. In my posts I will share the things I find spectacular about everyday life. Some posts will be informative, some will sound more like rants, and others will be to highlight how I am feeling about my world and about myself. My promise to you is to always be authentic in my posts and the voice you hear will always be my own, not someone trying to be someone she is not. I will post on a weekly basis, even though I started as a daily post that is proving to be more than a lot of work. These weekly posts will be more valuable teeming with more insights, and observations – plus I will have more time to develop them with more thought put into each post.
I life in Flagstaff, AZ. I work in higher education, working with student leaders and helping them to realize their full potential and achieve their dreams. I am wife, best friend, and partner in crime to Chris Gilbert. Chris is quite possibly the most patient, supportive, loving, and encouraging man I ever met. On this adventure of life I am lucky to have him at my side. I have a passion for student development theory, supportive and caring communities, escaping to the great outdoors, Pinterest, swimming, reading life changing books, and coffee dates with friends.
